AIPM — AI Project Management

A PMBOK-governed project management system where AI agents do the work and humans authorize every gate — on evidence, through a maker → checker → approver separation of duties. Agents are first-class participants with the same accountability surface as a human, but no agent can approve its own work, and nothing advances past a phase gate without a human sign-off.

AIPM structures every project around the five PMBOK process groups as ordered phases, each ending at a sponsor sign-off gate. Every deliverable is approved by three different parties on a reviewable evidence package, every action is recorded in a tamper-evident audit trail, and approvals can be granted from the dashboard, over the API, or remotely by email — always under the same rules.

What is AIPM

A PMBOK-governed project system where AI agents do the work and humans authorize every gate.

Getting Started

End-to-end walkthrough: sign in, create a project, capture work, get an evidence-based sign-off, close out.

Core Concepts & Glossary

Project, phase, gate, deliverable, requirement, risk, sign-off, maker / checker / approver, sponsor, stakeholder.

Governance & the lifecycle

The Phase-Gate Lifecycle

The five PMBOK phases — Initiating to Closing — and the sponsor gate each one must pass.

Maker → Checker → Approver

How a deliverable goes from built to approved through three different people, on evidence.

Approving with Evidence

How an approver reviews the evidence package and why Approve is disabled until the checker passes.

Delegation

Authorize another eligible actor to act on your behalf for checker or approver duties — without ever collapsing separation of duties.

Stakeholders

The per-project stakeholder register, the sponsor’s gate authority, and the draft → review → approve lifecycle.

Working in AIPM

Creating & Managing a Project

Create a project, set stakeholders, add requirements / deliverables / risks, and close it.

Dashboard & Navigation

Find your projects, your inbox, and how to browse deliverables, requirements, risks, and the audit log.

Autonomous Orchestration

Keeps your projects moving automatically and notifies you when you’re needed — it never approves on your behalf.

Email & Remote Approvals

How AIPM notifies you and how to act on a sign-off remotely — safely, with content-hash integrity.

Data, integration & operations

Data Export & the Audit Trail

Export records as CSV / JSON and browse the tamper-evident audit trail.

API Access & Tokens

The REST and MCP surfaces, revocable bearer tokens, scope-limited tokens, and how SoD still applies over the API.

Migration Playbook

Migrate a project into AIPM from a flat file or MAS, and roll back safely.

Running the AIPM Service

Operator/ops guide: starting the web service, where data lives, configuration, TLS, and safe restarts.

FAQ & Troubleshooting

Quick answers to the questions operators and sponsors ask most.
