What

The read-only Gantt view (REQ-FUN-106) SHALL render legibly for projects of up to 200 activities on a 1920x1080 desktop browser, with WBS-branch collapse/expand and a today-line indicator.

Why

Above this density the chart becomes unreadable. WBS collapse is the primary affordance for managing visual density on real projects.

How

Default row height 18 px; collapse-all-but-one-branch on initial render for projects > 100 activities; usability test with 3 established_guidelines_literate users confirms the chart is readable and navigable.

Done when

Usability test passes; 200-activity render fits in viewport with scroll only on the date axis; collapse/expand persists across reload via URL fragment.

Out of scope

Mobile / tablet rendering; print layout.
